    1. You can book a free 15 minute consultation with me by sending a message on this website via the "get started" link. During the consultation call we will discuss your current needs and goals and decide if we are a good match. If for any reason we are not the best fit, I am always able to provide appropriate referrals.

    2. After deciding that we are a good fit, we will select a time slot for regular appointments.

    3. Next, you will receive an intake packet via email that you will fill out before your first session.

    4. Once all of that paperwork is completed, all that is left is preparing for therapy! Identify a quiet and safe space that will provide you with comfortability, limited interruptions, and good access to WiFi.

    5. Now you're all set to go! Look forward to creating a strong therapeutic relationship and creating change in your life both in and beyond the sessions!

    • Individual Psychotherapy: $150 (50 minutes)

    • Couples Counseling: $250 (50 minutes)

  • Beyond the Sesh accepts self pay as well as insurance. Currently paneled with the following insurances:

    • United Healthcare/Optum

    • Aetna

    If your insurance provider is not listed, I am considered an out-of-network provider. You can still work with me by paying out-of-pocket, using an HSA/FSA account, or submitting a superbill to your insurance for potential reimbursement

  • All services at Beyond the Sesh are virtual and conducted via a secure HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

    Since sessions are held virtually, all clients receiving therapeutic services must permanently reside in Washington, DC or Virginia, where the therapist is currently licensed.

  • Each person has different needs, so the frequency of the sessions depends on individual needs and goals. I currently offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly sessions. Starting out, I prefer to meet with clients at least on a biweekly schedule to build a strong therapeutic alliance. We will discuss how often you would like to meet during the first session.

  • I require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    Late Cancellations:

    Life happens! If you need to cancel an appointment last minute, I may be able to reschedule that appointment within the same week (dependent on my schedule). Otherwise, there will be a fee equal to a full session rate of $150.

    Missed Appointments

    If you do not provide 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be charged a full session rate of $150 for the missed session.

    *Multiple cancellations/no shows in a short period of time may result in the loss of standing appointments

  • In case of a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You may also contact a crisis hotline for urgent support.
